CANCELLATION POLICIES:
(1) Asilomar Room & Board cancellations received on or before September 15, 2026, will receive a full refund, minus a $100 per-person service charge. Unfortunately, no refunds can be issued on or after September 16, 2026;
(2) A.R.E. of No. California Tuition Cancellations are available less a $25 processing fee.

A scholarship fund based on donations enables the Area to offer limited scholarships to those needing financial aid. For information, contact the Registrar. You are invited to donate to this fund, and all donations are tax deductible.

Colleen Vanderzyden
Author, Certified Empowerment Coach, Lily Dale Registered Medium, and spiritual teacher
With over 30 years of teaching experience, Colleen Vanderzyden has helped thousands of people live their best lives through her transformative workshops, retreats, coaching programs, hundreds of podcasts, and her book, Courageously You: Magical Mind Games to Get Unstuck and Reignite Your Joy. She has been featured in the Washington Post and CNN. Together, Colleen and Gregg host the Soul Empowerment Community, an international subscription network featuring endless resources for spiritual seekers.
Gregg Unterberger
M.Ed
Gregg Unterberger has been a field presenter for the Edgar Cayceu2019s A.R.E. for over 20 years, shattering attendance records across the country. Gregg served as adjunct faculty in Psychology at Texas State University and is currently a licensed professional counselor and a Past Life Regression Therapist, who trained directly under Dr. Brian Weiss. Gregg is the author of The Quickening: Leaping Ahead on Your Spiritual Journey.
Maridel Barr
Master of Ceremonies
Maridel Barr, J.D. is a long-time student of the Edgar Cayce readings. She grew up in Kentucky where her parents were in a Cayce group. Later she discovered his holistic health work when she picked up a health book about him from her grandmother's coffee table. She serves as the Coordinator for the No. California Association for Research and Enlightenment and is the program coordinator for this Retreat.
